Charlie,
the help provided with SCSIutil is not very clear, it took me a
while to figure out how to use it, but heres the low-down;
1. Find out what SCSI device driver you're using.
I'm using a GVP board, they imaginatively called their driver
gvpscsi.device, it will PROBABLY be in DEVS: From the shell type dir
devs: to get a list of the directory and look for something with SCSI in
it.
2. Make a note of the SCSI ID of your Wangtek tape drive.
This will be a number between 0 and 7, usually on the back of the drive.
If you can't find it, don't panic.
3. the format of the command is as follows;
scsiutil -dgvpscsi.device 002 -i
This would look at the device driver gvpscsi.device for a device on SCSI
ID of 2 (if you can't find your SCSI ID on the Wangtek, just go through
from 0 to 7 one at a time) and would report detailed information from the
drive. It's important not to have a space between the -d and the driver.
