GVP HD mounting problems
I have a somewhat strange problem I was hoping someone might be able to help
me with. I have an A2000 with a Supra memory board (2 megs out of a possible 8
on-board), an old XT Bridgeboard, and a GVP Series II HC 8 (with no memory).
The hard card has a quantum 50 meg drive on it, and I also have it
daisy-chained to a Toshiba 3101 CD-Rom drive, AND daisy chained to another
internal 100-meg quantum hard drive.
My problem is this: the 100 meg hard drive, which I just bought, does not
mount when I first boot up my Amiga. However, It DOES mount if I warm-boot the
system! I am running AmigaDos 2.1 w/1 meg Agnus, and old Denise. This seems
very strange. I prepped the drive and formatted it with the latest version of
ExpertPrep. It still does this. Can anyone help me so that I can use my second
hard drive when I first boot up my system?
