Joe, Thank you for your and everyone else's response. I could start with why was such a serious message regarding product support and censorship moved to the idle chitchat section. Censorship is far too serious of an issue to be called idle chitchat. Evan said none of my messages had been offensive enough to move, but yet it was moved to what I believe is section 0, where only certain people have access. (And no, I have not figured out any way to get access to that.) I downloaded the original message, Gary's response, and 2 or 3 additional replies, which had nothing to do with offering assistance. I first of all tried to mitigate the original writer's frustration, tell him he may possibly have a point, and offer my assistance. All you guys have been around here long enough to know that sometimes by the time the users get to Compuserve, their frustration level has reached the point of an enraged postal worker.<g> And if you don't give them the ability to blow at least a little bit of steam, you could end up with some of the same ramifications. (Let's hope not.) Now you say the message was not deleted, but moved. So thus, there's no censorship. If you take it out of the newspaper, and put it in a secret file, it's still censorship. Now, perhaps, those messages that were not offering assistance, only personal criticisms, didn't belong in the thread, but why did the entire thread disappear, including my message, which had a different header completely? And I can tell you from personal experience I've personally been flamed much worse than anything I read in that thread. Why the sudden interest? Thanks. Roger D.
