Mario, Yes, you are correct. Having the HHD spin only indicates that the powersupply is still working (ie, it isn't a blown fuse or lose wire). My techy suggested that it was probably a blown CIA. Unfortunately, I still haven't heard because he was off sick for a couple days (spring fever???) and hasn't had a chance to look at it. I hope it is that because I would otherwise most likely be looking at big bucks to find the problem. Thanks for your input. Andrew
