Thanks, can't say much about the "famous" part but certainly am more famous than "rich", but you probably know how much fun it is trying to make money writing. I will try my smile at the college and see if it gets me any closer to a speedy Internet connection. Interestingly, I just checked the phone #s listed on the CIS services and found none in Idaho or E. Washington that provide 9600bps service. Curious, there is a Sprintnet number in E. Washington that I tried for 9600bps connection to AOL, it worked fine, doesn't work for CIS. The local Tymnet number to connect to CIS and AOL at 2400bps are the same.
