Optical? I've seen them advertised, but I've never seen one in use. What's the difference in the mechanism that might avoid picking up cat hair? Don't opticals have balls? Of course maybe it's not just the cat hair I pick off my balls. Maybe, I'll try an optical just to add to my stack of mice. Anything is worth a shot. It's frustrating!
