I think I need to print this one out and go through it as I record and
play back samples to really get a handle on it.
The part about needing their SMPTE generator is bothersome. There is a
SMPTE jack on the card. If I have a sample that 5 seconds long on disk,
and I set it to start at TC 10.00, then when I record that audio to tape,
they sould pump the audio out such that the sample covers TC 10.00 to
14.29 regardless of whether I use their SMPTE output module or the TC at
the SMPTE port comming from the video tape. If not, its a bug, no?
