#A4091 and Syquest?
Dean, I have the Syquest 5110c working now. It looks like I have a couple
problems. One, being possibly a defective SyQuest 40 meg drive. Two, I have a
problem with the 40 meg cartridge I can't format it. Also the low level format
fails on all cartridges returns an error 112. Is it true I can't low level
format these cartridges? I don't quite understand why? I can say that the A4091
works with the SyQuest now, seems really slow but it at least does'nt hang up
my system when reading or writing like when I had the SQ555. At this moment I
don't have a 80 meg cart to try out. I'm surprised the transfer is so slow,
looks like it's around 470k/s.
