Hmm… I've heard people tell me to use TIFF's when I'm going to print,
but for bouncing between Photoshop and 3DS I've -ALWAYS- used Targa… try
that… PhotoShop will let you save it as a TIFF then if you want to.
I think I've seen that bug before though, FWIW.
