FYI the vetrans of at least one winter in Korea were also deemed to be one of "frozen chosen", which may also be a play on the name of the Korean city pronounced "chosun" as well. Bit of american military lore here from another who heard the dreaded words while in formation "you men have volunteered to join the frozen chosen." clusters on your korea ribbon were awarded as "1st winter in korea, 2nd winter in korea"…..etc. What did this have to do with fax modems anyway?
