Bad Sector Un-Flag?
I'm looking for a way to un-flag bad sectors on my disk. An early version of
WinNT malfunctioned several times, and its version of 'chkdsk' runs on
start-up, and it improperly marked some sectors as bad when they actually
aren't.
I realize that a format and restore will solve the problem, but I'd like to
avoid the risk and hassle.
