I would _never_ actively dissuade someone who has dcided on the
Sound Blaster. I will however actively recommend the PAS. CL is shipping
boards by the tens of thousands every month; most of those users are happy.
Ron's setup would still disappoint many gamers. Most games are not
able to utilize those high-end boards. For the cost of those boards and
appropriate speakers, one could buy his kids a complete MMPC computer
system.
