If you have a 256 color driver from your video card manufacturer you should
use that as opposed to the 16 color Windows driver (640×480). You could use
the 256 color Windows driver (640×480). Use the Windows Setup Program (the
one in the Main Group) to change the driver or to install the Trident
driver.
A 486 does eliminate all the aggravation of using Windows. I can't even see
the changes happening. Equipment designed for Windows sure makes a
difference.
