Rob — Thanx for the info on the number of satellites and there orbits. I don't think DGPS would do me much good up in the mountains and since the places I am looking for are at least several acres in size, I really don't need super accuracy. Now, if someone could explain datums and why we need so many, I would be in pig heaven. I mean – it seems like a point on the earth is where it is and it shouldn't be all that difficult to plot it on a map. Thanx again — Bill
