I'm having trouble getting a WangDAT 6200 (6130HS) to work under WinNT (9/93) with my Ultrastor 34F. I select the DAT 4mm drive, but it fails to start. The drive works fine on other systems, and when I boot DOS, the controller finds the tape drive (as shown in the status messages). But under WinNT, I get a service event #7026. Any ideas? This drive is listed in the hardware compatibility list, but only that it was tested with a Ultrastor 24F. Read action !reply Enter reply. (/EXIT when done) 1: OK, I called Rexxon/Wang/Tecmar and they confirmed that their 2: tech who said that the 6200 is compatible with teh 3100he 3100 was 3: not telling the truth. No wonder this doesn't work. 4: 5: Can anyone tell me ifM Microsoft is considering a driver 6: for these cheapo, old Wantgtek 62300s? (I have MDN L2., , is there 7: any sample code for a SCSI tape device in the NT DDK?) 8: /post Message # 214541 posted
