Then there are another set of temporary files that you can direct the location. This is the TEMP= variable in the 3DS.SET file. << Got it! So, I can set TEMP= for the Sysquest in a custom .SET file for whenever I render an animation, using the Sysquest for the rendering temp files, without having to mess with CFIG386 (I already load 3DS with a custom SET file using a batch program.)
