It's hard to see the pines clearly enough to see how you modeled them.
Strangely, I still don't have Yost #7… 🙁 I did just pick up Bones Pro
though… what a great tool!
Did you use displace on the gnarly trees too? Maybe those are the pines
you mean… The whole background has a cool Dr. Suess kind of look to it!

What did you use for materials/maps? I assume there is *some* opacity
mapping going on…? I think the card-style trees are better for animation,
where they just kind of slide by unnoticed.

Well, we're hammering away at the .mli… drop in to Showcase anytime and
see what's going on. The messages there haven't come close to scrolling off
yet!
