animation programs
Hi all animators,
Every day there are at least three people asking for advice on what PC
based animation program to buy. I have used quite a few and always
try to help, but my knowledge is of course limited.
Thats why I'm now trying to compile a text file with reviews,
personal experiences and descriptions of all (well all I can find
info about) PC 2D and 3D animation programs.
What I'm looking for is not the press info from the manufacturers,
what I want is personal opinions from users of the software. I'm
especially interested in hearing from people who have used more than
one program and can compare two or more packages. Please don't try to
write a complete novel 🙂 and don't forget to emphasize what you
think are the advantages or disadvantages of the program(s) you have
tried.
You can reply to this message in the forum or send e-mail to me. Also,
please mention how long you have been doing computer animations, what
software you have used, and for how long and what software you use
the most at the moment.
Once put together I'll place the file into the Computer Animation Forum (GO
COMANIM). I will also try to keep it up to date as new versions come out.
