Yep. For what is worth, the Sanyo responds just fine. The problem I noticed is that its implementation of the 422 protocol is a bit too slow. The key to that protocol is that no answer should take longer than 9ms, beyond which it is to believe the link is bad. The Sanyo consistently takes longer to respond, specially when searching. The problem is not mechanical, it's the lousy CPU controlling the 422 protocol. But when you consider the price of the unit, it isn't that bad.
