>> Trying to install Animator Studio from CD – installation fails and get following error messages: "Could not write file AIS.MVB " , (or sometimes other file name). << Rudy, just wanted to let you know, i've installed AStudio onto 20+ platforms with various CD drive manufacturers with no problems. without knowing anything of your system configuration, can you strip down your system to a bare bones with the CD drivers only and see if it works? usually this type of error occurs when you have megalomemory management conflicts, improper CDROM access to begin with (not enough memory allocated at address c800 or whatever the drive drivers require), conflicts with other drivers which don't surface until a really BIG application is used, or drivers are outdated in certain functions. checked… AIS.MVB is there on the CD. -dave
