Nik, Here are some of my comments on AAS: * Really need to be able to read .ani files off the PAR. Having to use .tga's causes some real logistical problems. * Need to be able to load a definable RANGE of .tga's (instead of having to rename the few I need and then rename them again when finished.) * The "line properties" dialog should have the option to create an arrowhead on either end of the line. Take a look at the way Photoshop does this. * "Duplicate Frame" should allow user to specify the number of frames to be duplicated (instead of having to duplicate them one by one.) * When a file is closed, a message will often appear asking, "A portion of this movie has been copied to the clipboard. Do you want to clear the clipboard and close the file?" The only options are either "NO" or "CANCEL". Seems confusing to me; how about having a "YES" for keeping the clipboard and a "NO" for clearing the clipboard? * It would be much better to be able to have multiple floating objects instead of just one at a time. Look at Photoshop's "layer" method or Composer' s floating object method. This would greatly improve AAS' compositing ability. * Overall: AAS has some very nice features but I am dissapointed as what I really wanted was an updated, 24 bit Animator Pro. AAS is also extremely slow. I'm using it on a P90 but such seemingly simple operations like moving a floating object around in one frame is v e r y s l o w. I keep finding myself yearning to go back to AAP. I do like AAS' great help dialogs and hypertext features. Alec Jason
