Just the PC version was used. (Note that Sony can get away with 1200 lines
(and even less) of horizontal res because they use a method of Gaussian
interoplation to blow up the image on the way to the film recorder. All major
recording-to-film houses (including Kodak's Cinesite) now do this. In many
cases, you don't have to render over 1K horiz, and I've heard of D1 res
(720×486) looking GREAT using certain new proprietary methods available in LA.)
