John, Now that I think about it, I've never tried to render a DXF in Lightwave. But it seems that other folks have had problems doing this. I wonder if your TIO translator is working properly? I think someone else here said they were able to bring in a DXF, but had to manually add all the faces to the object in Modeler to get it to render. Over the weekend, a new 4.0 user called me and said he had loaded a DXF into LW, but it didn't render. I'm not as knowledgeable about modeling in LW as I am about using its layout. So maybe I've missed something here (Surface settings perhaps). But it sounds like something fishy is going on. -Tim
