>> One more quick question on anti-aliasing and Animator Studio: <<
steven, quick note… your quota of anti-alising questions is unlimited here.
post all the questions you need to. 🙂
>> If I have a pre-existing bitmap that contains text that I need to
anti-alias, how do I do it in AS? <<
whole bunch of ways to do this.
>> I just recently received AS.. and from my limited understanding and going
through the tutorials, it seems the way to do it is to: 1) select the text to
be anti-aliased, 2) select the UnZag ink, 3) apply ink to selection <<
this works. have you used airbrush to do this? (also works)… soften ink works
well too. another option if the original font you used was a .TTF, you can
reapply the text normally using alpha channel after cloning the background
clear of the text. whole lotta ways. experiment experiment experiment!
>> My question is, is this the right way? Also, is the UnZag ink the extent of
the anti-aliasing in AS? <<
no "right way" to do anything in AStduio, and there are several ways to achieve
anti-aliasing (Unzag Ink included).
