James – Both PCFF and MACFF are services here on CIS (Compuserve). You would use the GO PCFF to find files that pertain to DOS and GO MACFF for the Mac files. It is an added cost, not a basic service but saves a lot of time looking for something. I beleive that the FF (file finder) picks up on Key words in library files. For example if you wanted a virus checker, you would use VIRUS as one key word and DOS (or Windows) as a second to narrow the search. A list of the file names and what forum they are on will come up.
