"Jack, Have faith in The Yost Group. Come on! There's no way R5 is going to be
slower. I'd bank on that one. As for multiple processor support it'd be a shame
if it wasn't there. I guess we'll have to wait and see."
Nope, we don't have to wait, Gary took all the doubts, you were right , I was
doubting (after the CADALYST article), can't believe my faith is so
fragile…Oh great Gary, forgive me, thy name shall be holy and so I walk in
the valley of shadows…
" From what I've heard about NT so far it sounds pretty promising. It's a very
solid OS, as long as you've got the horse power for it. Hmmm…. talk about a
tangent from field render flaw eh? BTW, AutoCAD for Windows is _not_ slower
than the DOS version."
Read the CaDALYST article, it shows all the ratings… My problem with that
was: If Autocad doesn't do NT well, what, God forbid, could happen to the 3DS
product (Autodesk)? Now since Gary showed me the light, I'm a happy camper
again (peew, thought for a minute that I'd have to use the rel 4 for speedy
rendering and the rel 5 for the new stuff)
