Hi all If I want to map a cube on all the six sides with a TILED bump-map I seperated all the six sides with : 1. Select/face/quad 2. Create/face/detach (selected) 3. Surface/mapping/apply/scale ( planar) 4. surface/aply/object 5. surface/material/assign/by name [ I wrote this out of my memory, perhaps there is one step missing, but I think you see what I mean 😉 ] … and this for all the six sides of the cube. Afterwards I attach all the sides to one cube again. Is this a complicated way to map all the six sides with different maps ? I tried a lot but when I want to have tiled maps on each side I have to detach each side at first to an seperate element. Right ? ( With face map in the material editor it isn't possible to produce different tely counterproductive. My computer locked during the save, and the project file is now corrupted. AAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!! By any really obese chance, is there a way to recover from this? Signed, Disgusted and going to bed… Tyler
