I've finally made the leap to NT. It went amazingly smooth too. After spending several hours reviewing installation docs & AMMEDIA threads and repartitioning my HD, I decided to dig up some drivers. I searched CIS:WSL for NT drivers for my BusLogic card, Plextor CD-ROM, and Vibra 16 audio card. I found drivers for non of these. I had trouble getting my modem to connect to the BusLogic BBS, so I gave up my driver hunt and threw caution to the wind. I went ahead with the installation of NT Workstation 3.50 (CD-ROM) and, despite my lack of drivers, NT loaded with absolutely no complaints! For anyone who may be wondering, the following equipment installs and works under NT without need for additional OEM drivers (even thought none are listed in the compatibily list) . . . * BusLogic BT-946C PCI SCSI host adapter (Uses standard Buslogic Family driver) * Plextor PX-43CS Internal 4X SCSI CD-ROM (Conforms to std. SCSI CD-ROM specs – requires no special driver.) * Vibra 16 audio card. (Fully Soundblaster compatible, select Soundblaster from the Drivers Icon in the Control Panel). Make sure you know its configuration. (IRQ, DMA, Port, etc.) Oh, and I really dig those 3D pipes!! BTW, now that I'm running NT 3.50, what are the advantages to loading the 3.51 or later service pack? — James — Choreo Motion —
