If you didn't change the compressor, you saved as Autodesk RLE,
which the MCI Quicktime driver wouldn't understand. It doesn't use the
codecs (COmpressor/DECompressor) available through Video for Windows, but uses
the QuickTime for Windows codecs in \windows\system\qt*.qtc.
Try changing the compression to Indeo or Cinepack, which exist on
Windows and Mac (but unfortunately are both lossy).
