Glenn,
Sounds like you might be out of swap space. Set your permanent Windows swap to
3x memory and try again. It's a known bug that when you run out of swap space
you get that message. Also check that set temp = directory is set to someplace
where there is plenty of room.
It's not beta software, but it is version 1. We'll get you up and running and
we'll make you a happy customer. You certainly can get 3DStudio flics into and
out of this program.
What will you do with a 640 x 480 AVI file, I'm curious. Most folks I know
using AVI are using lower resolutions due to playback constraints.
