Doug: /_______________________From your message________________________\\ Can I do this with one camera? __________________________________________________________________ Well, yes you could but it may be easier to do what you wish with a couple of cameras. If you use one camera you will need keyframes on adjacent frames and you will want to mess with the Tension/Continuity/Bias settings to get a clean cut. I would render the segments with each one having its own camera (I would even name them SEG-1, SEG-2, etc. for my own sanity). Render your frames to tga files then you could use an .IFL file for your background image and recompile all of the different segments into one long flic file, did you say you needed a flic file? If not, ignore that last sentence <G>. /_______________________From your message________________________\\ Also I am animating the camera manually. However I am getting alot of unwanted movement. __________________________________________________________________ Try linking the camera and its target to a dummy object, this will alleviate some extraneous movement between the camera and its target. Next, you'll have to mess with the T/C/B settings to eliminate all or part of the smoothed movement. You can get an animation to look "robotic" if that is what you are describing by moving these sliders. /_______________________From your message________________________\\ So I move the camera at frame 200 to where I want it. Than I copy the keyframe at 0 and move it to frame 99. This should make the camera still from 0-99 and then move from frame 100-200. Right? Or am I doing something wrong? __________________________________________________________________ Mostly right, this should work but you may be experiencing movement from the camera's target (that's why I suggested the dummy object). Have you changed the camera's FOV or rotation during the animation? These would also need to be nailed down at frame 99 as you did for the camera. /_______________________From your message________________________\\ Also does TCB affect exact movement. I want exact camera movements with no unwanted movement. __________________________________________________________________ If I understand what you are after then you are on the right track here. You want a camera to start moving abruptly and stop on a dime, yes. The TCB settings will get you there. Bob
