Hi Cyrus, I am guessing that we're dealing with problems left over from the GPF days a week or so back that you were having. I'm tempted to suggest reinstalling AAStudio again (well, I hope you have the CD version!) to see if that fixes it. I am able to create AAPro and 3DS files and have it work okay. Trying the VGA driver is a good trick – it's failing there too so I guess we're not looking at a video problem. I know you were asked about your swap file and system resources – are they still optimal? Has something changed them? If you can boot up plain (well, the CONFIG.SYS can have Files=40 and the HIMEM.SYS line for Windows, but that's it) and duplicate the problem, do you mind letting us know via the AASBUG..TXT file here in the forum? It asks for a bit of info that might help QA track it down. Sorry you're running into problems again.
