As you consider your options, I wanted to let you know that Matrox has a
product called the Animation Xpress, which is a digital animation recorder. It
eliminates time-consuming frame-by-frame recording by playing back
broadcast-quality animations directly from hard disk in real time. It
features digital component 4:2:2 video processing at 720×486, 30 frames (60
fields) per second. There is also a direct connection to 3D Studio.
