That was really more to the point than my question. So you got it. 🙂
So I guess it makes sense that you could go three generations with Hi-8 on beta
sp and have a decent product even if you're keying animations on the third
generation to be edited on the master… that sounds really shakey, but that is
what AE is anticipating as well. I don't really want to think about it… I
know you work with this multi-format stuff all the time so if you say it'll
work, I'll go with it. Apparently it is not an unreasonable expectation…
either that or people who do this sort of thing have different expectations.
I'll still voice my concerns but real low key and that should take care of
it… (at what level was really the insight I was looking for which you seem to
have grasped right off).
