Ok, I understand a little better – when I said "the computer" the first time, I should have stated computer 3-d modeling and/or 3d computer graphics isn't used MUCH, and even more rarely is 3-d modeling used as an INTEGRAL part of the design processs, as opposed to a periodical use. Even the firms using them use them more or less occasional capacity than will eventually be the case, due mostly to the time required for each particular animation… but, that's just today… >>From my vantage point there is a lot of 3D work being done within the context of the design process. No, I don't think 3D is being used to its potential everywhere but peer firms and many small firms have embraced this technology. I'm not denying that I might be wrong about that – but from my vantage, to clarify what that is, it appears many firms ARE getting into it strongly, yet the are a great many more that are not much, or not at all. Naturally, if you're in the field of CG, you might be encountering many more people involved than not… sselectivity amoung those we associate with and all 🙂
