I understand that each wish would be evaluated on its own merit, but I would think it's important to measure public support for any given idea, as both the insights of YG as well as the overwhelming needs of the public should be considered in the inclusion of new features. BTW – knowing that SIGGRAPH is ssoon coming, and the release of r5 will be soon after that (comparitively), is it too late for any major wishes like, for example, the inclusion of ray tracing, to be included in the next release? I assume the public opinion at SIGGRAPH will have at least some impact on the final descisions…
