Karl dont worry about the one giving you a hassle – this forum was intended to give "help" when other channels dont work – did anybody hear of networking ? I have had problems with DAK in the past – havent had the guts to buer stuff from them. Remember, they are basically a clearinghouse with a verbose catalog – some great deals, however support from the manufacturer is almost non-existant and it is difficult to get it from DAK try hard. One other approach is go directly to the OEM. My Tandy CDROM was difficult to install and the drivers were 4 years old ( version 1.0 !!) I called Mitsumi Corp of America and got the latest drivers and an installation sheet that made sense. The point is that I believe that your CDROM is also OEM'd by Mitsumi. read the message bases about mitsumi and download the new drivers from this forum ( I uploaded them) While I am on the subject – Do other people have the same opinion of Tandy technical support as I do ( Lousy !!!) You read their poorly written and outdated manuals and they refer you to to a "computer" center where the sales people generally dont have the s [C [C [C slightest idea of what you are talking about
