To whoever is listening at Commodore Amiga, 1) I am using Aztec 3.20A IBM-PC -> Amiga C cross. 2) Using version 1.1 Kickstart 3) Have 1.1 Kickstart ROM Kernel manual 4) Problem: Getting the example program in ROM Kernel page 2-28 is no problem and I have had pretty good success with other programs on my own. H However, the instructions in ROM Kernel for creating Double-Buffered Displays is straightforward, but I can't get the code to work. I'm faithfully doing all the calls in the prescribed order, but the system "goes away" upon the call to LoadView(). Could you send some example code for double-buffered displays??? I will also be needing to use dual-playfield displays in the near future and sample working code for this, also, would be greatly appreciated. Lastly, why is the Flood() operation so slow? I draw a circle about 220 pixels on a side, draw a line through it and flood inside sections in different colors and the Flood() call takes about 1 second per flood. Is there a "fix" in KS 1.2??? I can send a portion of my Double-Buffer code for you to examine if you wish. ———— Thanks, Greg
