I have the HP XL300 printer and have loaded the driver, used the SET statement, etc. I can print low res, but as soon as I get much above 1000×2200, I can neither render to the printer or to a file. I get the error message "Can't allocate image buffer" followed by "init of driver failed". I have plenty of free disk, and adequate memory (32MB). What's going on? Is there some magic to the set resolution ratio (besides being the right aspect ratio for the image)? Also, what Windows paint programs can handle files of these dimensions without locking up?
