Jeff, Try the following line and see what happens (from a CLI): TYPE > PAR: S:STARTUP-SEQUENCE that should type your startup-sequence file on to the print via the parallel port (completely bypassing the printer drivers). If it works then try this line: TYPE > PRT: S:STARTUP-SEQUENCE If that works, then all is well, you probably haven't been trying to use the printer properly. If it doesn't work, then you have a problem with either the printer.device file in the DEVS directory, or have a bad printer driver in the printers directory. If neither works, then check your cable for continuity on the pins and compare the pin outs of the Amiga with the printer to see if the cable is properly wired up (use any form of continuity tester). Finaly, if all is well there…make sure the printer itself is ok, run it thru it's sell test, or try it on another computer. Don
