Don, I know for a fact that 90% of the A-Time out there have the 58321-AA chip. Some of the first ones had the provision for either the original OKI 58321 with external pot and crystal, or the 58321 series with on-board pot and crystal (so that they will not restrict themselves to one company). Remember that these are guaranteed from the chip manufacturer to be within the limits that I mentioned. So both the insider clock and A-Time are pre-manufactured and tested to within these specs. You may want to check with them to see if you can get the 58321-AA part. On the other hand you are not loosing as much with your insider so it should be ok. My first "smartwatch" from the insider was loosing something like 6 min/week but the new one looses only 10 sec/week. Still, I probably could have lived with that if I hadn't had A-Time already.
