I may be that the drum sounds are overloading the MT2X's input circuits. I
have a spec sheet on the MT2X and it says that the input range is -56dB to
-10dB with an absolute maximum of +10dB on channels 1 & 2, and -16dB to -10dB
on channels 3-6 and AUX Return. The Amiga should be capable of 0dB levels.
The DMCS instruments might not overload while the Drums might.
You might try going into tracks 1 & 2 and start from the line position at
minimum gain and work up from there. If you find that it is the problem, you
can make an attenuator cord to use the other inputs. I'll be glad to help
with the formula if you need it.
