#A2000 w/IBMCard Problems
Help, I have an Amiga2000 with a BridgeCard. Attached to the BridgeCard is a
30M HardDrive (20 for the Amiga & 10 for the IBM). I don't what I did (I was
cleaning up the harddrive and I must of deleted something I shouldn't) but
when I go to the IBM side, play around and then get out, I get to the windows
with the ICONS but when I click them the cursor changes and thats it. My
amiga then locks up on me, as if the hard drive no longer worked once I left
the IBM side. I went back and did a re-install for the IBM (PC
Windows/ICONS) thinking maybe this was were the problem was. I also copied
the Janus Lib. over the old one. I did have a backup (MRbackup) and used the
restore command. This didn't work either. I would go into the IBM side then
click on the close bar, it would go to workbench and when I tried to click on
another ICON it locked.
So what do I do?????? I thought about re-formating the Hard Drive (AMIGA
Partitation only) and starting from scarch. I have several files that I
would have to save onto disk, and this will take time. I feel that my
solution is a simple one but I've tried everything that I can think of. I
will hold off on re-formating until I get world from what I feel are experts
on the AMIGA (anyone answering my plead of HELP). I love my Amiga and feel
that it is the best personal computer around. What is wrong with my Amiga
was generated from the keyboard back (me).
I am currently using MRBackup, is there anything better out there. It will
backup (or at least I think it does) JH0:. Is there another/better backup
program for what I need?
