I agree. As a legal owner of the software you can whatever you want with it including removing the code wheel protection. If I owned Interceptor I'd stick it on HD and get rid of the code wheel. The problem I see with the mass distribution of the technique itself is that it would encourage the theft of the product. The distribution of the info itself is not illegal (see the books on how to build your own atomic bomb — every thing you need 'cept the plutonium — ya gotta steal that). But, it is questionable ethically.
