OK. You've answered my question. You need either 2 drives, or run the program off hard disk. As I've said each time, I use one disk drive. I start Online!.trm (my custom term file) from workbench, I get a system requestor for my WB disk. after putting my WB disk, the program comes up. The program enters it's default, as oppossed to giving a system requestor for the Online! disk, and continuing by loading my custom file. This occurrs if I start the program from CLI also. The terminal I get is the same as if I start Online! vs. Online!.trm. My Online! disk contains Online!.trm.info (the icon I double click on to start my custom term), Online!.trm (my custom) , Online!.info (pgm icon), and Online! (the pgm). I generated the .trm file by using the 'archive save' command to the file Online!.trm , and before I placed all these files on a non-WB disk, it worked fine. I would double-click on the Online!.trm icon, and would get my custom terminal every time. Presently, I double-click on Online!.trm, (or Online!, get the same results either way), at the system requestor, I insert my WB disk, when the default terminal is up and running (and all drive activity is finished via green light off), I insert my Online! disk, and initiate 'archive'. The only archive terminal files indicated as existing on the disk is Online!.trm. I click this one into the requestor block, and click get. after all these manipulations, I finally get my custom terminal up and running. I believe now that it is imposs to get the program to operate corrctly (in this reguard) without more than one disk drive, or running the WB from RAM-disk. If you know anyone who is trying to run Online! from one drive, please let me know so I can find out if they have found a trick. According to the docs, the only reason Online! accesses the WB disk is to get a cusom font ( which I did place in my WB fonts directory). Perhaps there is an undocumented way to turn this off????
