Tom, From what I understand, PRT: initializes the printer, resetting it to default. You might try printing to PAR: to make it transparent or adding a command string-file to send through PAR: to set up the printer to the proper settings. If you include the proper ESC codes, or however its done on your printer, it should work fine. Another thing is to imbed the printer control sequence in your file. That method will allow you to use PRT: properly, as it will initalize the printer, and then set it to your liking. I've used all these methods and they all work. Doug
