Lee, If you load the fonts directory into VD0: (why? That's time consuming and probably memory inefficient. Fonts are normally only loaded once) then after the fact you have to do a ASSIGN FONTS: VD0:FONTS. And no, if you do a ASSIGN WHAP: FONTS the program will look in your fonts directory to find Whap! and it's auxillary files. If you are using floppy, name the disk that Whap! is on WHAP. You will then not have to do an explicit assign for Whap!. That, of course is assuming you have it in the root directory. If you have it in a sub-directory, you will have to do the assign. Again, if you move FONTS: to VD0: or anywhere else, you'd best assign it's location or no program is going to find it. Best, -jcs-
