Jim, at 2400 baud, most of the CompuServe modems want a few seconds to
determine if your using an MNP or non-MNP modem and then enable the transfer of
packets. My auto-login file for OnLine! uses a five second delay before
sending CTL-C. Have never had a problem with this setting.
Just something to keep in mind.
