You have to land from the correct direction – land with the control tower on
the RIGHT. You also MUST be stopped by the arresting cables – sailing past
them and having the brakes stop you won't work.
Also check out AMY REPORT, which is available in AMIGATECH in LIB 3. It's an
online magazine with some neat information in it, including some Interceptor
information (and a comprehensive review in Amy Report 1.) The filenames are
AMRP01.ARC, AMRP02.ARC, and AMRP03.ARC.
I think you'll find them worth the downloading time. If not yell at me.
