Art, I had the same problem the first time Whap! called CIS. After you called the first time, Whap! created a file on your disk called Txxxx (the xxxx is the baud rate that you called at). Delete this file, then the next time you call, Whap! will go through the setting-up phase again and save a new Txxxx file. One thing I've noticed that Whap! doesn't check, is that you may have defaults *in_the_forums* set differently from your CIS defaults. Although Whap! set my CIS defaults in COMMAND mode, my AmigaTech defaults were not set that way, and it got confused when it got a different prompt than it expected. BUT I was able to change the forum defaults while online with Whap! As for your second problem, it sounds like you had the QSN gadget selected instead of the RTN, if you wanted messages instead of headers. And as far as the "Prompt Character not defined" message, it also does that for me, and since the program handles it quickly I'm assuming that it's *supposed* to do that. Mike
